WHAT WE DO

Strategy Pilot provides business consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses. We “organise the chaos” so to speak, which unlocks potential and allows the business to spend more time on core competencies. We apply a systematic approach to identify the root causes of business problems. Based on our findings, we provide recommendations and solutions to resolve these problems. Once the root causes to problems are identified, and the strategy is outlined, we then provide operational support and management during the different phases of implementation.

HOW WE DO IT

We apply a three-phase approach, which has proven to be successful. Here’s what it entails:

DISCOVERY PHASE

During this phase, the aim is for us to learn and gain an in-depth understanding of our client’s business. We conduct secondary research; this includes reading industry-related reports and articles. Primary information will be gathered through a process of interviews with employees and the owner(s); this process provides useful information to identify problems and to help us understand the business processes better. Information about constraints and critical problem areas will emerge from the data. We also observe the daily functions and operations of the business to identify potential inefficiencies. Surveys are also sent out to the client database; these surveys can validate and confirm findings. “Getting closer to clients” will help the organisation meet clients’ needs.

ANALYSIS & EVALUATION PHASE

The goal is to identify where change is needed - by identifying the company's strengths and weaknesses, as well as current and foreseeable problems; these can include problems already realised by the owner, or new problems identified by our objectivity. We also identify opportunities for growth, increased profits, and improved efficiencies. We will also develop solutions and recommendations to help resolve problems and to take advantage of opportunities.

IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

Together we will agree on a way forward; this is considered the restructuring phase or the implementation of the plan. In this phase, we build on opportunities and eliminate drawbacks, as well as monitor, adjust and report on the progress of the plan.
